Jireh’s Place of Hope Jireh’s Place of Hope is a 501(c)(3) faith-driven nonprofit organization. We are committed to serving vulnerable children and families facing poverty, hunger, and lack of access to education.

We believe every child deserves to be seen, supported, and surrounded by love — regardless of their circumstances. Through food relief, educational support, community partnerships, we are working to break cycles of poverty and restore dignity to those we serve.

Our vision is to provide hope and opportunities for vulnerable children and families in need by addressing their immediate needs for food, access to education, while creating a safe environment and future through the establishment of a loving and supportive orphanage.

Meet our Founder

Janesha Spady

Janesha is the Founder of Jireh’s Place of Hope. With over 15 years of experience in child welfare and social services—including investigative and leadership roles with the Florida and Connecticut Departments of Children and Families—she has dedicated her life to protecting and advocating for vulnerable children.

But her mission is more than professional—it’s personal.

Long before her career began, Janesha was a teacher and youth leader who saw firsthand how guidance, encouragement, and love can transform a child’s future. Having once longed for that same steady support herself, she founded Jireh’s Place of Hope to create what she once needed: a safe, faith-rooted space where children are nourished, valued, and reminded that they were created with purpose.

Jireh’s Place of Hope exists not just to help children survive—but to help them thrive.
