Jireh’s Place of Hope is a faith-driven nonprofit organization committed to serving vulnerable children and families facing poverty, hunger, and lack of access to education. Rooted in compassion and guided by purpose, we exist to meet immediate needs while building pathways to long-term hope and stability.

We believe every child deserves to be seen, supported, and surrounded by love — regardless of their circumstances. Through food relief, educational support, community partnerships, and our vision to establish a safe and nurturing orphanage, we are working to break cycles of poverty and restore dignity to those we serve.

We envision a world where no child goes to bed hungry, every child has access to education, and orphaned and abandoned children grow up in safe environments filled with love, stability, and opportunity.

Meet our Founder

Janesha Spady

Janesha is the Founder of Jireh’s Place of Hope, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting vulnerable children and families impacted by poverty and hardship. With over 15 years of experience in child welfare and social services, she has served in investigative and leadership roles with the Florida and Connecticut Departments of Children and Families.

Her passion for children began through years of volunteer service as a teacher and youth leader, where she developed programs focused on education, character development, and emotional growth. Guided by faith and firsthand experience, Janesha established Jireh’s Place of Hope to combat child hunger, expand access to education, and create safe, nurturing environments for children—guided by a long-term vision to build and manage a loving, supportive orphanage.
